What is live in Keystone AI right now?
Guided brief capture, floor plans, elevations, concept estimates, DXF, high-resolution plan downloads and quick 3D. The studio also offers exterior color preview/apply/cancel, declared surroundings and portable model downloads. Availability depends on account access and the runtime notice on this page.
Who is Keystone AI for?
Homeowners and first-time home builders who want to describe the house they want without needing technical drafting knowledge.
Do I need a technical background to use it?
No. That is the point of the guided brief. You talk about your rooms, priorities and preferences in plain language.
What do I get for free?
Floor plans for every level, with no account. A free account also keeps every house you design and lets you walk through it in 3D.
What does Pro add?
The Pro feature set includes elevations, refinement, ZIP-based estimates and downloads. The intended subscription includes photoreal credits; checkout and photoreal generation remain unavailable in the current preview. Check preview availability before relying on these services.
Can I open the 3D house in SketchUp?
Download the SketchUp conversion kit and create a native SKP file on Windows with SketchUp 2026 and Python/Pillow. The writer reopens and checks the file before saving. COLLADA import is another option in supported editions. Direct SKP downloads require a configured Windows export server; the online site supplies the kit.
Can I open the house in Revit?
Download the IFC model from the 3D section. In Revit, choose File > Open > IFC, then save the imported model as RVT. Floors, geometry, colours and source identity are included. Some elements are mesh proxies; these are not complete parametric BIM families or an engineered construction model. Direct RVT downloads require an Autodesk conversion runtime.
How accurate are the quantities and prices?
The measurement ledger shows nominal and finished clear floor areas with assumed wall assemblies. Roof, framing, foundations, MEP and prices retain their stated assumptions or allowances. Whole-project accuracy within ±5% has not been established.
Does Keystone AI replace an architect or builder?
No. It is an early design and discovery tool. It helps you arrive with a clearer starting point, but professional design judgment still matters for any real project.
Are these outputs construction documents?
No. Outputs are concept aids only. They are not permit-ready drawings, stamped documents, engineering deliverables, or final construction instructions.
Are CAD files and cost estimates live today?
CAD files and estimates require eligible account access. The DXF contains scaled concept drawing sheets, and US estimates use ZIP-based rates. Checkout is currently unavailable; native DWG is planned.
How long does it take?
The first floor plan often arrives in under a minute. Quick 3D is available with eligible account access; photoreal generation and exterior image rendering are currently unavailable.
What happens to my data?
Project inputs and generated outputs are used to run the service, handle access requests and improve quality. The privacy page explains the current policy.
